Gargamel & Azrael

Gargamel is the sworn enemy of the Smurfs. Gargamel hates the Smurfs, he wants to catch them, put them in his stew pot and cook the Smurfs up for tea! Gargamel believes he is a great wizard but really he isn't a very good sorceror at all. With his pet cat Azrael they are always on the hunt for the Smurfs and he even manages to catch some at times! The Smurfs always manage to get away in the end though and Gargamel is often heard shouting "I'll get them all if it's the last thing I ever do!"

Azrael is Gargamel's mangy looking cat. Wherever you find Gargamel, Azrael won't be far behind! As evil as his master he lives in hope that one day they will catch some Smurfs!
