British Smurf Collectors Club

The British Smurf Collectors Club was founded by Terry and Irene Anderson. Terry and Irene introduced smurfs into the UK via the National Garages petrol promotions in the late 1970s.

Kitty's Cavern took over the British Smurf Collectors Club in 2007, as Terry and Irene Anderson have now retired, but our circumstances have now changed and we are unable to run this club.  The British Smurf Collectors Club is in the process of being handed over to a long time smurf collector who plans to relaunch the club.  More info soon!

Terry Anderson has generously allowed us to scan some of his photographs taking during the early 1980s which include pictures of Peyo and many of the other people responsible for distributing smurfs at that time. To see these pictures please click here.
