British Smurf Collectors Club

The British Smurf Collectors Club was founded by Terry and Irene Anderson. Terry and Irene introduced smurfs into the UK via the National Garages petrol promotions in the late 1970s.

In 2007, Kitty's Cavern were pleased to take over the running of the British Smurf Collectors Club, as Terry and Irene Anderson have now retired.

Terry Anderson has generously allowed us to scan some of his photographs taking during the early 1980s which include pictures of Peyo and many of the other people responsible for distributing smurfs at that time. To see these pictures please click here.
