2008 Smurfs - Party Theme to celebrate the 50th Anniversary

The 2008 Smurfs celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Smurf story which began in 1958. The new smurfs and their code numbers are listed below: -

Collectors were disappointed not to see a new playset introduced especially as the Smurfette Bedroom playset was discontinued at the end of 2007. It is however, exciting to see new Gargamel and Azrael figures, and the Smurf with Bottle looks to be a firm favourite with Smurf lovers everywhere. One thing is for sure, it's sure to be a Smurfy Birthday for the Smurfs and their arch enemies, Gargamel and Azrael the Cat!
